Certifications Blue Angel Our Re-Solution products have the Blue Angel eco-label. This label is awarded to products and services that meet stringent environmental requirements. The requirements are established by the German Institute for Quality Assurance and Certification, in cooperation with the Federal Environment Agency and the German environment ministry and focus on low power consumption and the suitability for recycling. The Blue Angel eco-label is a certification awarded by RAL GmbH relating to specific production criteria, required to be confirmed externally by independent inspectors. The plastic products are made from the Re-Solution line, in which pulverised coloured hangers are made into beautiful desktop products by Jalema. FSC® FSC®, the Forest Stewardship Council (Council for Forest Management) is an international organisation founded in 1993. The core work of the FSC®is to ensure that forests, both tropical and non-tropical, are well managed. The FSC®label system allows forest owners who adhere to the agreements to distinguish themselves from those who do not properly manage their forest. Additionally, the FSC®makes the wood recognisable to the end user. The end user can thus be sure that it comes from well-managed forests, as the wood is tracked throughout the entire commercial chain. The instrument used for this is the FSC®certification, used for both the forest management and for the commercial supply chain. Certification is done by one of the fifteen independent organisations accredited specifically for this purpose by the FSC®. Wood is the basic raw material for paper and cardboard and therefore falls within the jurisdiction of the FSC®. Jalema produces 196 types of folders and 176 types of business forms that are FSC®certified. ICN 1 ICN is a mark of certification from the Institute Collective Netherlands. ICN 1 is a requirement of quality for archive covers without an attachment mechanism for permanent storage, in which demands on the direct and long-term strength properties (tear resistance and folding endurance) of the carton are made. ICN 2 ICN is a mark of certification from the Institute Collective Netherlands. ICN 2 is a requirement of quality for archive covers with an attachment mechanism, in which the requirements for the cardboard are heavier than those in ICN 1 in connection with the additional load that the attachment mechanism entails. ICN 12 ICN is a mark of certification from the Institute Collective Netherlands. ICN 12 provides requirements regarding quality, physical properties and the durability of attachment mechanisms for archive covers of paper or cardboard with attachment mechanisms for use in static archives.
